Description

This innovative unique 2 Day Course presented by Surgical-Art in collaboration with Face Lab, LJMU augments three principle processes of artistic and aesthetic understanding of the face:

Wax Modelling – Delegates will sculpt facial components from bone to skin using a layering approach to understand how underlying tissues affect an individual’s facial characteristics and how subtle changes to facial sub-units can affect the global appearance. This tactile medium will empower the practitioner to gauge a bespoke and appropriate approach to the individual.

3D Imaging Technologies – Building on the principles of the wax sculpture, delegates will be introduced to the potential of 3D technologies, commonplace in clinical practice, and their use in developing suitable strategies.

Face Contouring – This largely underused modality of facial sculpting in the aesthetic environment uses cosmetics to define, highlight and/or camouflage areas of the face. The delegates will learn techniques of contouring to modify specific features. Thus they are better able to inform their clients on complementing their surgical/non-surgical treatments, and thereby providing a more holistic and, therefore, ethical care.
